This will be either in the Temple Yurt or outside depending upon the weather. It is preceded by a Nurture & Nourish Retreat day in the same venue. Please see details on the booking link if you wish to attend the full day and evening. Please note that my circles have a strong element of humour and fun.

Drumming has proven health benefits as many of you know. It can improve your mental health, your well being, reduce stress levels and so on. It is also a powerful way to ground ourselves and with the current energetic climate that is important more than ever. No experience is necessary, almost anyone* can have a go, we all find our own rhythm, the drum is like the heart beat, connect to your heart beat and you find a rhythm :-)

Around the fire, weather permitting. If not, in the yurt with a log burner

Drumming

Singing/chanting

Socialising

Unwinding

What's not to love? 😉

Please note that if the weather has been hot and dry in the run up to the event in the summer, we will not be lighting any fires but will still join in circle for song and drumming and nature bathing.

So, I invite you to join us in a celebration of the earth, the trees, the winter, the spring, summer, autumn, ourselves and to come together in communion with our surroundings and leave what we do not wish to take forward with us in the flames of the fire (real or imaginary 🙂 ) and to create what we wish to take forward on the notes and vibration of our voices and instruments. Fire is cleansing, deeply cathartic, healing and primal. Music is the same. And being in nature, under the trees, in a wood is also deeply healing and quieting.

A chance to unwind, to sit quietly and to dance and sing and drum or play another instrument. We will be mindfully respectful of our environment and in gratitude. This will be a chance to go inwards and outwards and hopefully happen on a monthly basis until it's too wet and cold to hold them outdoors. They will then move indoors.

The evening starts with a grounding meditation which may include flute and channelled vocals. There are quiet spaces where we can absorb the energies created and be still, thereby integrating everything. I would like us to set intentions at each meeting and we also drum to send out healing as well. The singing or chanting is not obligatory but voice work is incredibly powerful, so I encourage this :-) No fear! I said encourage not expect or enforce lol :-) ♥ but we mostly drum freestyle, and most of us know how that goes so come prepared for high energy too.

I want it to be open to anybody that wants to come (without the specified health issues, see the bottom of the page) and contribute and let's have fun..
